Why Study in India

India’s educational system is as vast and diverse as the country itself. While living in India can be challenging for international students, it is an affordable and rewarding experience. India’s educational system is as encompassing and as diverse as its history, making studying in India unlike anywhere else.

Quality Education Programs

India’s diversity and history offer a wide array of options for any student. India’s educational system is as vast and diverse as the country itself. While living in India can be challenging for international students, it is an affordable and rewarding experience.
A millennia-old civilization, the birthplace of four world religions, a dazzling diversity of cultures, languages, and traditions, and breathtaking natural beauty – from the soaring Himalayas to the deserts of Rajasthan. The real question is not “why study in India?”, but “why wouldn’t you?” While India has much to offer the traveler, it also has much to offer students. With access both to such rich history and diversity as well as a rapidly growing country on the cutting edge of the technological revolution, studying in India has much to offer, whether your interests are in Classics or Computers, Philosophy or Politics.

Low Cost Living and Tuition Fees

Undergraduate tuition fee costs in India can be very cheap, with some courses as low as £300 a year. However, international students will pay higher tuition fees to study a degree in India, which can be as much as £6,000 a year.
Accommodation costs in India depend on where you want to live and the type of housing you want. Housing costs in cities like Delhi and Mumbai can be as high as most major cities in the world. There are two main types of accommodation available to undergraduates while studying:
University accommodation – such as halls of residence
Private accommodation – House and flat rentals
Expect to pay around £200-£300 per month for a one bedroom flat in Mumbai.
Living costs/rent: The cost of living in India is very low compared to most other countries. Transport, food and entertainment are all very cheap. For example, a three course meal can cost as little as £7 while a rickshaw ride home can be as little as 30p.

Safe and Comfortable Place to Study

Indian is a relatively safe country for its size and population, with violent crime against foreign students low. Petty crime and theft can be an issue, as can harassment from beggars and street children.
Female students should be aware that India is a naturally conservative country and you may be harassed if you wear revealing clothes or you should avoid walking alone at night. If you are harassed, you should tell the man in no uncertain terms that their behaviour is unwelcome – it’s not disrespectful for woman to tell a man she doesn’t want to talk.
Despite this, India in general is a friendly and welcoming place for students, with relatively low crime.
Students should always take care to protect their own personal safety in order to avoid becoming victims of crime. They can do this by:

Avoiding carrying around large amounts of money
Staying in groups, especially at night, and never walking alone
Not making valuables obvious
Always having a route home planned and never getting into unlicensed taxis
Being wary of strangers
Being careful of traffic

Why Study in Russia

Russia is the largest country in the world, covering over six million miles of land. Russia covers all of northern Asia and spans nine different time zones. So why study in Russia? Studying in Russia is a popular choice for international students with a wide variety of interests, be they literature, art, history, or Russian language studies. International students in Russia will receive a high quality education in a culturally diverse environment.

Quality Education Programs

Russia is a multinational country where representatives of the most diverse countries and cultures can easily adapt to life here. Russia is home to more than 200 ethnic groups that speak more than 100 different languages and dialects. The Russian constitution guarantees freedom of conscience: Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Judaists, and representatives of other faiths peacefully coexist here. The country’s multinational and ethnic structure illustrates the diversity of all spheres of life, from cultural to domestic. Unsurprisingly, many foreigners arriving in Russia feel at home here. Russian universities are proud of their long experience in the training and acclimatisation of international students: supervisory programmes are arranged for first-year students and there is an established network of student communities.

Academic programme structure (curriculum features) The truly-distinctive feature of the program’s academic plan lies in the end-to-end study of aviation engines. While pursuing their end-to-end project, encompassing all coursework in specialized disciplines, students perform the full scope of work with the project, from idea, feasibility study and design-calculation work and ending with a “virtual” engine complete with 3D modeling of the construction and the processes unfolding within it. Consistent with the State Educational Standard.

One of the biggest draws for international students studying in Russia is the price of tuition. Why Study in Thailand

Thailand is known as the “land of smiles” for the friendliness of its people. However, friendliness of the local people is far from the only reason to study in Thailand; Thailand offers many benefits and draws for international students.

Quality Education Programs

As with many Asian countries, education is highly valued and extremely important in Thailand. Thai students take rigorous exams and undergo heavy competition in order to get into the best schools. The Thai government’s goal is to put Thai universities at the forefront of science and technology, likely a result of the country’s strong economy and the modern advances it is experiencing, and will continue to experience. International students who study in Thailand can take advantage of the fantastic education available there.
Many international students travel to Thailand to study ecology and the environment, agriculture, and development, as much of the work being done in these topics in Southeast Asia is happening in Thailand. For international students who are interested in learning Thai, Thailand is really the only place to go.

Work While You Study

In some countries, time is a strict part of life. If you show up two minutes late, you will not hear the end of it from your boss or might not even be allowed in the classroom by your professor. In Thailand there’s a thing called ‘Thai time’. From my time here I’ve learned that Thai time means you have a good 15-minute buffer in which to show up for a meeting or class. At first I thought this was out of disrespect and a lack of caring for responsibilities. But I’ve learned that this 10-15 minutes is an opportunity for friends and co-workers to catch up and ask personal questions, like how their family is doing or what you did over the long weekend holiday.
Working with and understand different cultures can be a big benefit for everyone. The world is getting smaller and having the skills to deal with different cultures is getting more important. Interacting and learning about different cultures would benefit students studying international business, or someone who wanted to have a wider understand of the world.

Low Cost Living and Tuition Fees

The cost of living in Thailand is very low. Small apartments can be rented for about $60 (US) to $215 (US) per month. Students can expect to pay only about $30 (US) each month for food.
Thailand has one of the strongest economies in Southeast Asia, and is experiencing rapid changes in modern society. The cost of living is extremely low, making it the perfect destination for international students on a budget who want to make the most of their limited funds. Food is inexpensive, as little as $1 USD per meal and other living costs are equally low.
Nature – Thailand has some of the most breathtaking views in the world. From tropical beaches to picturesque mountains, Thailand has something for everyone.
Food – Thai food is delicious, varied, and usually very cheap. It is also, generally speaking, healthier than what many international students are used to eating at home, with lots of tropical fruit
Weather – Thailand’s weather is generally pleasant year round. It is tropical, and generally experiences six months or more of blue skies during the dry season. This makes it a popular destination for students studying abroad during the winter.
Beaches – Beaches in Thailand are some of the most beautiful in the world, and no matter where you are in Thailand, you are never very far from a beach.
Location – Thailand is located at the international crossroads of Southeast Asia, making it easy for international students who study there to explore Southeast Asia more fully. Many students who study in Thailand visit Cambodia after their studies are over.
Tuition and fees vary across universities and programs. Tuition for master’s degree programs at public universities is usually about $1,000 (US) to $2,000 (US) per year. Tuition at private universities is about $75 (US) to $125 (US) per credit hour.
Master’s programs generally require two years and 36 credit hours to complete. Students normally earn 9-15 credit hours each semester.

Multicultural Studying Environment

Thailand has a very diverse and open culture that encourages debate and discussion and the country promotes sustainable and holistic solutions to problems. Approximately 400 master’s degree programs in the country are aimed at international students and are taught in English. Many higher education institutions in Thailand are highly regarded, especially in the areas of environmental studies, agriculture, energy, law and Buddhist studies. In addition, many graduate programs exist in business and management and most of these are taught in English.

Safe and Comfortable Place to Study

Let me guess, you’re reading this blog because you have already decided to study in Thailand, or you’re still researching the best place for you to explore. Thailand is a place like no other in the world. One of the main reasons I chose Thailand for my study abroad experience was because it was called “the land of smiles”, and I like to smile all the time. So I figured, what better country to come and study if everyone smiles like I do? “I could fit right in”, I thought to myself.
